Your personal tutor will be available to discuss any problems with you, academic or otherwise. The Wellbeing Centre at Streatham Campus offers counselling, guided self-help services, psychological therapies, support with mental health issues and advice on a range of wellbeing concerns. Through our AccessAbility service we ensure that students with disabilities are able to participate fully in campus activities and encourage you to declare your disability on your application form. This doesn’t affect your application, but it does help us to prepare for your arrival and plan your support.

What support is available to students who are struggling for any reason?

Leaving home, making new friends and adapting to life at university is exciting but it can be challenging as well. You may feel homesick at times, you may find making new friends difficult or studying at degree level daunting. This is all perfectly normal – be kind to yourself and give yourself time to adjust – you’ll soon settle in.

What sort of societies are there?
We’re home to around 400 different societies from the conventional (English Soc, Ski Club, Jazz Orchestra), to the more unusual (the Chocolate Society, Quidditch, Hide and Seek Society).
