hey can anyone help pls :smile:

a chord PQ subtends an angle of 36 at the circumference of a circle of radius 6cm and centre O. CALCULATE THE AREA OF 1) minor sector POQ
2) TRIANGLE POQ 3) segment cut off by chord PQ.

Is this C2 or GCSE Maths?
In radians or in degrees?

EDIT: <POQ is apparently 36 degrees.

Then your formula would be:



2nd question - use the sine rule

3rd question - area of sector SUBTRACT area of triangle (so answer 1 minus answer 2)
