Ah I always struggle to remember his name, even Zainab calls him Masood most of the time

He's Masood Ahmed, and traditionally the wife and children will take the husband's first name as their new surname, hence Zainab Masood etc. 
edit: though note Afia and Amira went against custom and kept the Masood surname
