depends on the kid's ability. each child has a unique talent or skill and you can never compare 2 people at least at this age when they are not sure of what their actual traits are. people are very different and maybe the child who is the popular one in his/her childhood turn out to be quite mature. and the nerdy kid may be very interesting if you get to know him/her. the definition of winning in life can be very different for everyone. if my definition is to become a surgeon my friend may want to become a freelancer. who knows? so we cannot compare each and everyone on the same parameter.
