Leeds Beckett Uni or Leeds Art Uni?

Which is going to give the better teaching, support and experience?
if you're doing an art based subject, leeds art I would say. if you have any more questions about it let me know, I'm a student there and happy to answer anything I can

Honestly it's sort of 'relaxed' but i believe that comes from the uni being entirely arts based, it feels more comfortable to me.
From my experiance the tutors genuinely want the best for their students and will do their best to work with you if you have any troubles. I was able to get support even prior to being assessed for ADHD (that they also helped me do) There is both student welfare and student support (and employability welfare will help with more mental health related issues, and support moreso with things like correspondences and whatnot (I go to them when I need to make a study needs assessment for myself or help reading and understanding correspondace, they also are the people who will sort your extentions if you are eligible for those)
I've had one small issue with student welfare with my allotted sessions (that I had to waitlist for) not being booked correctly so I'd miss them (the appointment was booked 10 mins after the allotted time... twice...lol)
From what I've heard from my friends on other courses they also have little issues with the support that uni has in place, there's a lot you can do to gain support, you've just got to ask for it :] I wish you the very best of luck in your decision making and I'm hoping you'll do wonderfully whatever happens! ❤️

Also I totally blanked on the teaching part lol! Again the tutors really do want the best for the students and MOST... tutors give great lessons and are incredibly approachable for any other things you'd like to know! Also for experiance again it is quite a 'chill' one it feels like yoire surrounded by people who get you? Lol but the food they sell is a pretty penny, there's REALLY good food litterally across the road so it's no problem haha 😋

hey!! ive heard from other people who were also struggling with neurodivergency that the school was clueless and even harmful for their mental health 😭 has anyone you know had similar experiences to this? i'm also curious, do you ever feel like you're missing out since it's a much smaller school than say, uni of leeds?

That sounds good! I was struggling since I read so many different reviews it’s hard to know😕 I’m planning to do illustration btw. I’m happy to have a chill environment that’s the goal for me! I saw that the classes are quite big with the amount of students so as long as everyone gets supported that’s good😊
