I hope it turns out better than that special they recently made...

:adore:

As soon as I saw that "I'm gonna catch you little fishy..." came into my head

But yeah the back to Earth episodes weren't that good hopefully this series will be!

You know, I don't watch enough TV to realise it still came on, oops!

Heh, the flamingos will destroy any penguin army it comes up to face!

On reflection, I think I enjoy work more than I ever did university, I was just having a very bad day; I managed to break someones ribs during CPR, and then she went and died on me anyway - and I managed to screw up my wrist in doing all of this.:frown:

As much as I miss QMUL, I think back and remember that I wasn't very happy there; I am however glad that I went as it was a valuable experience (and a bargain compared to todays tuition fees:ninja:) and I met some fabulous people.

I thought we agreed not to get any older?! Does that mean next month I'm going to age too.

Nah, I didn't know either I found out by chance on facebook at the start of December, and before that they only did a 3 part special called back to earth a few years ago...

Aww, that sucks :frown:

And of course I'm fabuloussssssssss :fan: :ninja:

Okay okay, I lied I'm 18 I can pass for 18 right? :ninja:

Yeah it was pretty sucky, but I suppose a good learning experience. We usually use an AutoPulse but that just wasn't happening as she was rather large and we couldn't get her into the right position.

I think we'll both stay eighteen for a few decades, and then we may consider being in our twenties again.

Yeah, what area of medicine do you want to specialise in again?

Hmm, then I guess its time to find a good plastic surgeon!

Heh, I have to worry more about getting into med. school before I start to consider career paths. As it stands, I lean towards emergency medicine or anaesthetics, but that'll probably change a million times between now and when I actually have to make a choice about these things.

Mind you, I could go into plastics and do our youth maintenance for free.
Hey BL medic here..

Does anyone know somewhere decent and cheap for some easy laptop repairs?

One of my buttons has come off and broken the plastic-y thing underneath, the key still works ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; <- see but want to get it sorted tbh

I suppose in light of the way I phrased it, I am rather.

I hadn't meant it the way it comes across, I meant more that if after the trauma of broken ribs etc. she managed to pull through it would have been worth it, as she didn't it just seems like we made her passing as undiginified as possible. It's patients like her that just make me wish people had DNR forms filled out if they know their health is declining; on the other hand, I suppose, perhaps that she might have wanted us to grasp at any little chance she had at life. Who knows, I sure as hell wouldn't want that for me.

Ive got one of many junk mail letters sitting in front of me for the City PC Centre on 598 Roman Road. It says keyboard repair on it and the prices seem reasonable. 15 min walk from campus I reckon.

I'm trying to get a cancellation, so I went on the booking system 15 mins before close to maximise my chances of finding one, and it wouldn't let me book online. :frown: I'm desperate to get it in ASAP because my sister passed hers yesterday on first attempt and here's me, having to wait til 21st March for attempt number 5...

You'll get there. I passed first time, but if I had had a different examiner I know for sure that I would have failed; is it a particular thing that keeps tripping you up, or jsut general nerves?
There's an item listed in the library catalogue as "closed" or "confined" and with a shelfmark starting with a Z. Does this mean it's in some locked basement somewhere?

Parallel parking. I get it perfect in lessons, in all but one of my tests I've mucked it up and clipped the kerb. The only time I didnt muck it up was in my first test where I'd already failed on nerves. Who takes 4 tests and gets the same manoeuvre in all of them?
Have you guys heard of this? http://www.humanism.org.uk/news/view/966

Seriously? When will the university learn that they can't let these religious ****ing nutters run amock on campus? I can't ****ing stand going over to mile end for anatomy sessions only be bombarded in the square by raging ****ing lefties and religious fundamentalists.

Universities should have banned religious societies ages ago, they're nothing but breeding grounds for fanatics. UCL being the most obvious example.

Admittedly it appears to be one particular society which causes most of the trouble (I wonder which ), though really it's high time QMUL became secularised like BL.

But would we still get Starbucks on campus though?
