Polynomial help

I have this polynomial: Polynomial:

y=-3.406987136E-009x⁶+3.421291696E-007x⁵-2.438893485E-006x⁴-0.000259487209x³-0.01337572609x²+0.1678344319x+52.68022838

I need to differentiate it and then find the maximum/minumems via the second derivative

Can anyone help with turning standard form into 'normal' form?
I've completely forgotten how to convert it to get rid of the E!
1.23E-3 = 0.00123
4.56E-5 = 0.0000456

It would be a lot easier if you quoted the coefficients to 3 significant figures.

Also, if this is an actual question from a textbook then I suspect they gave you a fraction rather than long decimals. Using fractions would mean your standard form problem is sorted and the answer will be more accurate.

Thanks, appreciate the help!
Its actually from data based on the Vietnam War - I wanted to get it as accurate as much as possible, but I get where you're coming from.

Thanks again.
