Mole calculation help :)

Ah I absolutely am blindfolded when it comes to mole calc. So here's the question , 2Cu(No3)2->2CuO + 4No2 + O2

1200 cm^3 of no2 gas is produced at rtp.

Hence , deduce the number of molecules of oxygen produced . ImageUploadedByStudent Room1380276678.432420.jpgCould this be the answer ? Thanks in advance !

Why have you divided by 2 in the last step? You don't need to :nah:

Whoops my bad haha I think my reverie was along the lines such that I just found the number of atoms , and that molecules were half that number , no?

You found the number of molecules using the 4:1 ratio, you'd have to double it to find the number of oxygen atoms
