Can someone explain what the whole of module 6 means?

its abour electricity, resistors and some other crap i havent got my head around yet
These are some of my notes on p6:
current-> the flow of electrons
Resistance-> how hard it is for electrons to flow
resistance = voltage (in V)
----------------
Current (in A)
there are two categories;
ohmic-> fixed resistance
non- ohmic -> variable resistance
failment lamp is a non ohmic device
A potential divider with a variable resistor- variable resistors change the wire length that current goes through
LDR- decreases as the light intensity increases
thermistor- decreases as the temperature increases

transistors- 3 terminals
base
collector
emitter
control output
can switch on a greater current through the collector
1b + 1c + 1e

transistors as an AND gate
two transistors can be combined to make an AND gate

Nand- and gate into not gate
