What is the formula for tension?

I know the formula for frequency.
f = 1/2l sqroot T / u

Are you asking if there is a formula for the tension in a string, or how to rearrange the given formula to make T the subject?
There's

Tension = (lambda/l) x

Or lambda/l can just be k

It's a constant

To rearrange

Starting with your formula (I'm not asking where this has come from or even if it's correct)

f=12lTuf = \frac{1}{2l}\sqrt{\frac{T}{u}}

and assuming T is tension in your formula

Start by squaring both sides.
Then get T on its own.
Can you do it now?
