Yes that's basically correct. Although x|y implies x<=y isn't true for all x and y

e.g. 2 | -4 but 2>-4

But it's true in your case because you're dealing with positive integers.

The very original problem was finding all positive integers n such that n+1|n^2+1 (done now).
