M2 Horizontal Circular Motion - Help

Hey
I copied the following question from my M2 textbook

A bead, of mass m, is threaded on a string of length 8 m, which is light and in extensible. The free ends of the string are attached to two fixed points separated vertically by a distance, which is half the length of the string, the lower fixed point being on a smooth horizontal table. The bead is made to describe circles on the table around the lower fixed point, with the string taut.

a) show that the radius of the circle is 3m

b) what is the maximum value of w w , the angular speed of the bead, if it is to remain in contact with the table?

I seem to stuck on part a any clues would be appreciated.
