Edexcel Core 1 International Papers?

Hi,
I searched for a definitive answer for this but cant find it.
Is there any difference between the C1 edexcel standard spec and the C1 edexcel international spec?
Or do they just make the questions harder
i.e. is it worth doing IAL papers if you want a challenge, or do they include content that is explicitly not examinable under the standard syllabus

It's the same specification as far as maths content is concerned.
There have been a few unusual questions on international papers that can can help your preparation.
The C12 combined papers do ask bigger, more in depth questions than are feasible on the separate exams and some mix ideas from C1 and 2 in a single question but they are still useful to stretch your knowledge.
