Chem AS Edexcel Question Help PLEASE :)

1) Write the equation for the reaction between Conc. Sulphuric acid and solid Potassium Chloride, KCL.

I've got KCL + H2SO4 = KHSO4 +HCL

2) This ones totally stumped me:

Explain why the melting temperature of boron trichloride, BCL3, is much lower than that of Sodium Chloride. (4 marks)

These are from a edexcel past paper - Unit 1.

Please help. Thanks SO much.
BCl3BCl_3 is a simple molecular compound that only exibits VdW forces of attraction as intermolecular forces of attraction whereas NaClNaCl is ionically bonded and will have much stronger electrostatic forces of attraction between ions
