Question 12- remember flemings left hand rule. If we have a moving alpha particle we have a current, the current is perpendicular to magnetic field, thus alpha particle experiences a magnetic force at right angles to the current and field (the direction your thumb points when using left hand rule).
Question 5- for objects to appear weightless they have to be unsupported.
This means that the gravitational force acting on object must be equal to centripetal force.
Sorry i dont have a better explanation for this one.
Question 11- what is the time period of the earth? do u know any equations linking time period and angular velocity, w?
