Southampton vs Queen mary
I am deciding whether to attend Southampton or QMUL for economics and finance Bsc. I have offers from both and plan to take the year in the industry option for both but I can't decide which one to choose as my first choice. From a purely academic and employability perspective, which is better?

From a completely academic and employability standpoint I would go with Southampton over QMUL.
Southampton is ranked 13th in the UK but QMUL is ranked around 35th. If you want to get into corporate banking or investment banking, the big firms in these industries usually target people from universities like Southampton, Manchester, Durham, Warwick and other top russell groups.
But this is just my opinion so don't take it as the deciding factor as to which university you want to go to.
