Surds form not being displayed on calculator

Hello! Was wondering how to let the answer be displayed in surd form.

For example, if i key in sqrt(5), the calculator display answer in decimal form instead of the exact form of sqrt(5).

I tried S-D function button, and it did not work. Also tried changing the input and output mode to math mode and it did not work too. Still getting decimals as answer. Based on videos i watched online, sqrt(5) can be displayed in a surd form. so also rule out the possibility of the answer being unable to display in surd form.

Not sure if there are places i overlooked.. Any kind souls have any suggestions on how to rectify it? Thank you :smile:
