Anyone know specifically what topics have and haven't come up in the first paper?

from what i remember: vectors (hopefully wont come up again), iterative formula (and other numerical methods stuff i cant remember), integration by substitution, surds (rationalising denominator), differentiation from first principles

cant remember any others but there were more

I like maths but stats is just so weird and disgusting icl, could be a bad day tmrw
I also dont think integration by partial fractions, functions or binomial expansion will come up again

This is a revision list for the pure sections of papers 2 and 3. As always, expect more calculus and algebra, and if you can think of anything I've missed - let me know!

Implicit Differentiation
Connected Rates of Change
Product and Quotient Rules
Integration by Parts
Partial Fractions
Newton-Raphson
Proof by Contradiction
Factor Theorem, Algebraic Division
Arithmetic Series
Harmonic Form
Pythagorean Trig Identities, Small angle approximations
Line and Circle Coordinate Geometry
Differential Equations
Trapezium Rule
Using Rectangles to bound areas
Year 1 binomial expansion
Surds
Quadratics completing the square, inequalities and discriminant
Transformations of functions
Composing functions
Parametrics to Cartesian form, Parametric Integration
Optimisation
Arcs and Sectors

A teacher put this on the paper 1 chat after the exam last Tuesday
Q1 was a triangle sine and cosine rule question
Q2 was on position vectors,
Q3 was something and then a quadratic in disguise,
Q4 was differentiation by first principles, and then integrating to find an equation of a curve
Q5 was on functions- find the eq. of this modulus graph given bits of info., then why is there no inverse, then find the inverse of |px-q| where x is greater than or equal to q/p
Q6 was chain rule and the show the curve is convex
Q7 was binomial expansion
Q8 was parametric differentiation
Q9 was proving cos(a-b) given what cos(a+b) is, then using cos(x-30)cos(x+30) to create a function and finding min/max values
Q10 was iterative formulae
Q11 was on linear representation of exponential data with a sum of geometric series at the end
Q12 was integration by substitution

A refresh of last Tuesday
Good luck everyone!
