Moments Question

Can anyone explain this moments question to me, I don't really understand why for the moments of the coats, the perpendicular distance is not taken and 0.025m is used instead.
Why is the moment of the coats, according to the calculation, not greater if you made the coat hook longer after the pivot?
Thanks in advance

The perpendicular distance is taken.

The moment is the product of the force and the perpendicular distance of the line of action of that force. The line of action is vertical and through the lowest point of the hook, so its perpendicular distance to the pivot is 0.25m.
