i never studied vector moments and this question means nothing to me, can someone explain where the numbers in the solution come from ?? thank you !!

If you sketch a point (x,y) and a force (a,b) acting through it, then the moment is the sum of two parts
* a is applied at a perpendicular distance y
* b is applied at a perpendicular distance x
Then its just a case of thinking about whether each moment part is clockwise or anticlockwise to add or subtract them.

There are 5 parts in the moment solution, so 3 forces each with two moment parts (x and y directions) and one of the parts is zero distance/moment.
