As physics question- density

What is the best estimate for the density of steel?
A. 10^-3 g/cm3
B. 10^3 g/cm3
C. 1 kg/m3
D. 10^3 kg/m3

Could someone please explain why the answer is D ?

I assumed it would be B because D is the density of water and steel density>water density.

The density of steel is approx. 7 850 kg/m3 therefore is of the range 10^3 kg/m3
B is 1000000 kg/m3. That is insanely dense. For context, the densest material on earth is Osmium which is only 22 600 kg/m3.
