Durham gcses

I’m applying for english lit at durham for 2024 entry. My a level predicted grades are A*A*A, but my gcses are 9887766666, the high grades all being in essay subjects. Are these too low?

I imagine you should be alright. You definitely exceed the A level entry requirements and there are no specified GCSE requirements on their website.

Whilst Durham does look at GCSE results, it should do so in such a way that it takes into account the relative performance of the average student at the school(s) where you studied for your GCSEs.
