Assassins creed mirage

Hello, I am currently through the beginning of assassins creed mirage. And I’m on the mission we’re I have to find dervis artefacts. I was trying to pickpocketing one of the people and I accidentally killed one of them and then something happened.

Normally they show up on map but after I killed one of the citizens it doesn’t show up anymore. I tried to close my game and restart the mission to the last saved game point but the location of the artefacts does not show up anymore so I have to restart the whole game?

Just needs some advice from you gamers
