I need an answer for this question iii.

i) Use Excel to find the median number of Gigabytes (GB) of data on
offer by the ten mobile networks. Please include the formula you
use for full marks.
ANSWER - 55 GB

ii) Use Excel to find the mean average of Gigabytes (GB) of data on
offer by the ten mobile networks. Please include the formula you
use for full marks.
ANSWER - 123.5 GB

iii) Based on your two answers in part i) and ii), which answer would
give a better indication of the average number of Gigabytes (GB)
of data on offer by the ten mobile networks.

iv) Give a reason for your answer to part iii).
It's impossible to know without looking at the dataset itself.
But do you know the mean could be misleading if the dataset is "not nice" (also what do I mean by not nice)?

Although I'm inclined to agree that "you need the dataset", the wording of the question does somewhat imply you should make a decision just based on the answers to (i) and (ii). Not that I'd want to try to do so, you understand!

It's hard to tell without the data. For example, if the numbers go like 10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10, 1000000, the median is a better indicator since 1000000 props up the mean.

Just knowing the median and mean doesn't tell us much. It's really a question about data analysis and anomalies, etc in the data.
