3 A uniform bridge of weight 5 * 10 ^ 4 N is supported on pillars A and B, which are 20 m apart. A lorry of weight 3 * 10 ^ 4 * N is stationary 4.0 m from pillar A. Find the forces acting on each pillar.

Pillar A:
Vertical Force = 8 * 10^4 N
Horizontal Force = 6 * 10^3 N
Pillar B:
Vertical Force = 5 * 10^4 N

How did you come up with those values?

For the OP, one way is take moments about each pillar.
