3/x + 3/2x = 2

(multiply by x)

3 + 3/2 = 2x

can you solve it from there?

x = 4/9

3/x + 3/2x = 2/1
First find a common denominator:

9x/2x^2 = 2/1 (now cross multiply)

4x^2=9x ( the x's cancel)

4x=9

x=9/4

x=2.25
