Work experience

I want to study Adult Nursing and I've been trying for some work experience.

I live in rural Norfolk, and as such transport is tricky - I've got a place at a caring home working with the residents there, but is this enough?

I'm really committed to being a Nurse but there are only care homes and small cottage hospitals that don't have in-patients.

Some work experience is better than no experience, right?

Thank you in advance

Definitely!

Some universities would appreciate your initiative, as you could have easily given up on the idea of work experience when you came up against your transport problems.

As with SLT, you can't always get work experience in your area of interest/in hospitals, so anything relating to your client group is a bonus!
