Secondary English PGCE - University of Wolverhampton
    Hi everyone!

Just wondering if any of you have had interviews for a secondary English PGCE at the University of Wolverhampton?

I have one next week, and really not sure how to prepare for it - as they didn't offer much advice on what to prepare for.

So, has anyone got any tips?! Any help would be much appreciated.

And good luck everyone with your interviews/courses

    Jasmine xx

    Hello!

I had my interview about a month ago and got my firm offer this week!

The interview was informal and one on one

There is also a subject knowledge audit, a spelling and grammar test and a written assessment.

Overall it was very relaxed and the interviewers were very nice!

    Hope this helps

Thanks for that! And congrats on the offer!!

How long did the interview last? and did any questions trip you up?

What did the written assessment consist of? Is this the text comparison and do you have any tips on how to go about it?! What kind of things were they looking for?

Sorry for all the questions, its just this is my third interview - I really want to get it right!

Many thanks and hope to meet you soon!
