Please help! Midwifery or Vet Nurse?

Hiya
I'm in my first year of college studying AS Biology, English Literature and Psychology.
I can't decide if I want to become a Midwife or a Vet Nurse when I'm older; I love babies and am facinated by pregnancy and think I could really provide support to new mothers during and after their pregnancy. However, I have always loved animals and have many pets of my own, and think being a vet nurse would be an amazing job. I know neither jobs pay amazing money, but the average Vet Nurse starting salaray is £14,000; Midwifery is around £26,000. I know money is not the main reason to persue a carrier, however I want a career that can enable me to comfortably support myself.
I wondered if anyone had any advice about either of the careers.
Sorry for the essay and thank you in advance for your replies!

I'd advise getting some work experience in both fields. Your perception of midwifery and vet nursing may not be accurate, and work experience would allow you to gain a realistic idea of what these careers entail and which you would enjoy more. All the best!
