Question about mocks

Hello world!

I am in Yr 10, and I have mock exams coming up in the first week of May. Do these exams count toward GCSEs, or at all in any other way?

Thanks everyone!
If they are just mocks no they won't contribute however they probably will be the basis on which your teachers decide your predicted grades which can be important if you're ill and may also help depending on what you want to do after year 11.

Well actually they are Yr 10 main end-of-year exams, so do they count for GCSEs?
At my school we took all GCSE exams in year 11 so our end of years did not count towards GCSEs. Unless you are taking any actual GCSE exams they will not count towards the overall qualification.
