While we aren't aware of anything being set up internally, there is a group set up by external company 'Your freshers guide'. They aren't associated with the university and they may work on Commission of advertising to other companies, but they appear to have Facebook and WhatsApp groups set up here: https://www.yourfreshersguide.com/huddersfield-freshers/
Please be aware of personal details being sent out etc, they are not run by or affiliated with our University and have been set up independently.
They may be helpful for matchmaking you with fellow coursemates, just be careful with the information you give out
