Great question and one many new students are eager to know.

Students may not have lectures on every day, it really depends on which course you are studying and which year you are in. Wednesday afternoons are often kept free for students to take part in sports and society events. Student timetables for the 2023/24 academic year can be accessed if you have your place. They are available to view online via the timetable link on the Student Hub.

In case you didn't know UCLan's welcome week is from 25 Sept 2023 – 29 September 2023 and teaching for most courses will start on Monday 2 October but it's worth checking your timetable to confirm this.
