The Student Room Group

Does it come with Internet Pornography?

So you go looking for a house to rent in October and find this one:

-Internet included
-Bills included
-Large double room with en suite
-Spacious kitchen
-Nice Patio
-80 pounds a week

Amazing! But hang on a minute? Is internet pornography included? No information online, better ask the landlord...

:hmmmm:

Also if renting, can you even imagine the conversations that would need to be had between tenants and between tenants and landlords...?

Wonder if David Cameron actually thought through this properly.

They can take our lives, but they will never take our porn! Also I hope this doesn's set a precedent.

Answered your own question there.

No. It is a Tory led coalition policy. They never think things through properly.

Have the Liberal Democrats actually reacted to this, as their name contains the word 'liberal' you would of thought they would be against censorship?

Lol, they're far from that now. They're nothing more than a bunch of petty turncoats with a coward of a leader. They are finished for the next 4 decades.

Yes that maybe the case, but is this a coalition or Conservative policy?
This could actually be a strong election policy for Labour.

Indeed, I'm looking forward to the next general election when every student hard-done by from the tuition fees will be old enough to vote.

If David Cameron isn't reckless then he's certainly short-sighted, in the physical sense, at least. He's pointing this gun right at his own foot.
It's alright - just download it all tomorrow, then you'll have 100's on your hard drive by the time this legislation comes in
I CERTAINLY DO COME WITH INTERNET PORNOGRAPHY

I can imagine unblocking porn coming up on the manifestos of parties like the mad raving loony party lol
Stupidest policy he's come up with, who's getting the avant ages from this? The sites won't be happy at all, the parents will want to 'protect' their children but want to have porn for themselves, kids are becoming more and more tech savvy so will find a way to unblock it if they want to, the conversations teenagers are going to be forced to have with their parents out of desperation.....

Labour want porn banned as well - especially the one who bought porn whilst staying in a hotel and then claimed for it on expenses.

Relax. The bill will never get through anyway, and even if it does, it will be completely unenforceable as you can simply use a proxy or a VPN service to get around the ISP filter.
