The thing you really need to understand is that Brexit was the best decision this countries electorate has ever made. We can still take skilled migrants based on our Visa system, this can be based on our needs and gaps in our work force. What the "leave" voters voted based on was closing our borders, seriously having unskilled immigration of 150,000 from the European union is not a great idea, yes they may pay their taxes, earn their money and not claim of the dole but that is not the point. It is about time England put there own people first. Total immigration was 330,000- We would need to build a home every 4 minutes morning, noon and night- If you ask me that is totally unreasonable because
A. we will run out of space to build on
B We can't carry on like this, resources such as land to build on are finite
I am 19 years of age and I voted to leave the European Union, if people actually did there research the only thing it impacts is our exports, yes they may decrease if tarrifs are put on them as a business point a view , but Germany, Holland, USA and some other European countries already want to do a deal with us- leaving has done us a favour in the long term we will have the best of both worlds, closed borders and access to the single market without any calls of changing currency to the Euro. The short term impact may make the pound worth less and make our (the consumers) spending power less but in 10 years time when you have a decent paying job because we have controlled migration you will thank us, this is because the wage demands of europeans are much less than ours. I live in Stone Cross their is a big chicken Factory where there is over 1,000 polish workers, it has been rumored many of them are being paid cash in hand £3 a hour and are put on day release to attend their job centre meetings an English worker would have to be paid £7.20 (if over 25 if not NMW).
To answer your question about Becky, she is in a very bad position- she messed up her own education but I am a very patriotic man i would hire a trier with one GCSE over a foreigner if i had no skills gaps to fill in terms of specialist knowledge. Also it will force the Government to offer more incentives for the British people to go into Medics instead of doing the easy thing and importing them, if you think about it we could invest some of the £35 million pound a day of fees into incentives to improve the education of our citizens, we could bring a lot of low earners out of tax and reduce the tax burden of companies so they have more money, can expand and create jobs- think about it. But I guess you would rather remain and give unelected bureaucrats in Brussels even more powers, you pretty much asking for a democratic dictatorship
You say Over 65's should not be able to vote, I guess you want to allow 16 year olds to vote- not only this propostion is wrong because at 16 you have no life experiences it is also age discrimination. It is capped at 18 because very few people understand politics at that age, I still struggle. 16 and under would not turn up or cross a random box which makes electoral fraud a lot easier. You have been whipped into overdrive by a scaremonger and **** your pants campaign what Remain delivered everything from WW3 to no european country will trade with us, I said before the vote Germany sells over 500,000 cars a year here in the UK, if they close the door on us think of the unsold stock and profit hits they would have, the German government are interested in this because of the tax which is paid , and are already willing to do a deal with us
Also have you read an EU treaty, I'm guessing not. They are trying to enforce things on member states such as joining the Euro
Article 3 of the Lisbon Treaty states
"The Union shall establish an economic and monetary union whose currency is theeuro."How democratic enforcing the Euro on every nation, we managed to Reject it because the pound is worth more than the Euro- which is a doomed project because the more economically developed countries are richer than the less economically developed countries meaning if they share the same currency the poorer countries will be pushed into poverty because the Euro is worth more than there currency so they get less money and the rate of inflation in the EU will determine the prices paid by the consumer. Did you know the EU imposed VAT on us, and a green tax on our industries so we had less exports than what we would had with out the green tax, the impact this had was that a lot of our steelworks, had to pay more to produce and export our goods, this means that the demand would be less for our products and the effect this had was it killed manufacturing in the 1980's and over a million people in mining and steel lost there jobs
I think I will leave it there, I look forward to your response, and will debate further then
