Teaching assesments
What are these figures about used in league tables? I know they are marked out of 24 but how do they get these stastics?

They get them by doing assessments of whether the teaching on a particular course meets the objectives set out by the course conveners.
So, there are obvious flaws in that. A university with simple objectives that fulfils them will get a better score than a uni with harder objectives that doesn't.

Thanks the reason I ask because my university ranking is low because of poor teaching results and lowish entry grades. Everything else seems to score quite well.
