Thank you for informing me about this!
What i meant was the software for Microsoft Office.
https://portal.office.com/start?sku=student
Some universities/schools offer their students free Microsoft Office not sure if uoW offers this
Sorry for the confusion!

Students can purchase discounted Microsoft Office through Viglen. Further details are on our Student IT discounts page.

Students within the Faculty of Science and Technology can get free Windows 8 DreamSpark Premium. Further information can be found here.

Hi guys,
I have no idea if anyone still follow this but I'm going to be a second year student doing Biomedical Science and I'm also a course rep. Just want to say if you have any questions about the uni, societies, worries or about my actual course pop me a message and I'll answer to the best of my ability. My name is Nicola and my email is [email protected] if you want to ask something privately. I'll also be at the Cavendish, Regents and Marylebone Freshers' fair at the Harry Potter Society stand so come, chat, hug, join whatever. Enjoy your first year! I'll see you guys there.
Regards, Nicola

I'll start my 1st year of Biomed this september.
When is theFresher?
I still haven't got my timetable or Westminster email yet.Should I call the Uni?
may I ask what subject you study and how did you find the tutors?

Also if you study Biomed can I have your first year notes and and stuff if you don't need them?At least can I borrow them for a few weeks?

Hey,I actually answered your other thread as well about notes by the way. I do biomed too.But Cavendish freshers' fair which is the science and technology (a.k.a. your department) is on 22nd Sept. You should also have orientation that day too. http://www.westminster.ac.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0011/378281/Biomedical-Sciences,-BSc-Orientation-and-Schedule-v2.pdf That weblink should be your orientation timetable. If you have completed the pre-enrolment form you should be fine. So no need to call the uni unless you haven't done it. After orientation you should get your full timetable. You'll meet all tutors, lecturers and course leaders there.

You're welcome!
I look forward to meeting you too. I don't mind, besides I'm sure they're going to be many study sessions with your friends in your year as well so you're sure to catch up.

Hi its Kim from Course Enquiries. Just to let you know the Freshers Fair for Cavendish Campus is on 22nd September and usually runs from around 11am to around 3pm. If you're on Campus you can't miss it as its held on the main concourse on the ground and lower ground floors.

Hey guys,

I'm a current student at The University of Westminster studying PR and Advertising. I've lived in London now for two years and I absolutely love it!! When I was applying for uni I was sooo nervous about coming down to London. I didn't know what to expect, and there wasn't very many helpful forums about London life for students. Therefore I want to write this to those students that have any questions regarding London. I'll answer any question as best as I can so please feel free to comment
