A2 E-fields question

Hello,

I'm having trouble with an electric fields question (below), there is a forum post already on it, but I still didn't understand the method given by one of the commenters, so if someone could explain it to me that would be awesome.

A +25uC point charge Q1 is placed at a distance of 60mm from a +100uC Q2

a) a +15pC charge q is placed at M, 25mm from Q1 and 35mm from Q2, calculate:
I) the resultant electric field strength at M
II) the magnitude and direction of the force on q

(( b) show that the electric field strength due to Q1 and Q2 is zero at the point which is 20mm Q1 and 40mm from Q2 ))
Perhaps I will understand the second part when I understand the first part, so part 2 is not as vital to me.

Any help appreciated
I 90% sure how to do it but you said you are confused so i'm not going to give me method cause i don't want to confuse you even more, plus this topic calculation is one of my weakest I've never practiced them :/
