foundation year

Hi , I think I know what a foundation year is but I have a few questions that aren't clear so I thought I'd ask them here.

1)If I do a foundation year in psychology and change my mind later, can I directly go into doing a bachelor's in business or any other field?

2)If I do a foundation year from one university, can I do my bachelor's and further undergraduate studies from a different university?

3) Is a foundation year respected, is it a compensation to A levels?

4)The only reason I'm doing it is because I have gotten an E in my AS and am not sure about my A2 results, is there an option besides a foundation year for me because otherwise how can I get into a university?

A Foundation year is designed as 'a way in' to that degree only - and only at that Uni.
If is not a universal 'qualification' that you can use for entry to any other subject or at any other Uni.
Its always recommended that you retake your A levels rather than do a Foundation year.

The 'option' is to do some really hard work in your 2nd A level year and seriously lift your game - or forget it and get an apprenticeship. If you continue to work at E grade level then even a Foundation year will be beyond you.
