do isolating mechanisms increase or decrease biodiversity?? when the species are seperated it prevents the gene flow within the ecosysytem so this decreases genetic variation which leads to decraese in biodiversity.. but on the other hand in leads to the evolution of new species which increases species and increases the biodivesity.. can someone pls explain .... thanksx
