I recently got a good grade in a mock November retake maths paper. Someone told me that it was easier as it was a retake paper. Is this true?

    I highly doubt it.

No, I don't think so. The recent oct/nov ones are like hell.

    It is not true

The goal is to make all papers of similar difficulty. The November papers may be easier, harder or of the same difficulty as the preceding or following summer papers.

The winter session papers are usually a bit harder than the summer sessions. You might have noticed the pattern :yep:

There is probably no trend because january modules are for both retakes and those taking exams early. So yeah to make it fair it will be similar to Summer papers.
