How many orbitals contain an unpaired electron in an ion of Fe2+?

The answer is 4. Could someone please explain this?

i think it is something to do with the fact that all orbits are filled singly before doubly so some orbitals will remain singly filled therefore the electrons will be unpaired

oh yes you're right, in the 3d subshell the remaining four orbitals have one electron only- thanks!
