"Figure 10 shows a sketch of the graph y=1/x. Sketch the graph of y = 1/(x-2) on the same axes."

How would you go about this? Thanks.

Think about it as replacing x with x-2, so the whole graph is shifted 2units to the right and there is now an asymptote at x=2
