Postgraduate college members

Just wondered how common it is for Postgraduate students coming from outside Durham Uni to join colleges other than Ustinov. For me i think that Ustinov looks a little bit out of it and am instead really attracted to Hild Bede and University College, but I also want college accomodation if possible. Any advice?

This is the third thread you've made about Postgraduate stuff. I know it's important to you, but can you just keep THIS thread for Postgrad questions, there aren't really any postgrads on this forum so you're not going to quickly/easily get many answers about it (unfortunately). But if you just keep this thread for it then it would avoid needing lots of different threads which aren't being answered.

To answer your question, it does certainly happen, just not a massive amount. If you want to apply to a college you like the look of then there's no problem with that, and you'll be welcomed so don't feel like you'll be left out. However you say you want "college accomodation" - Ustinov is a college just like any other, with a Student Executive, sports, societies, etc etc. and has the added bonus of not being full of Freshers who may annoy the hell out of you whilst you're doing "serious" study :wink:
