CIMA or ACCA in light of AI risk to accounting

Hi there,

What would be the best accounting qualification to first take during university in the current rising AI technology circumstances?

I will be studying Bsc Accounting and Finance at city, university of London, CASS business school this coming september as a mature student.
ACCA and CIMA are both international qualifications that are globally accepted and highly observed qualifications in Finance and Accounting.

In comparison with CIMA, ACCA is more focused on financial accounting and technical practices of accountancy, it is usually thought that ACCA gives you a stronger grounding in accounting principles than CIMA.

I would recommend ACCA for graduates looking for career primarily in practice, audit or tax with the skill for numbers and compliance, on the other hand I would recommend CIMA for graduates looking for careers primarily in business and industry with a flair of strategy, commercial awareness and good negotiation skills.
