Which Cambridge college?
Original post by OxbridgeRejectTT
Uni Choices: Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Durham, Bath (got offers from Durham and Bath already!)
Subjects: Economics, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths
Predicted: 4A*
GCSE: 8A*
Why economics: its significant relevance to other subjects (maths, politics, philosophy, psychology, etc.) as well as real life, its flexibility; love writing essays, especially macro, love solving calculus and algebra problems (it never gets boring as you can switch between reading/writing and using quantitative methods), helps prevent my writing skills from dying

Help! Which one would you say is better for career prospects?

Bsc Economics from King’s
or
BA in Economics and Business with Eastern European Studies from UCL?

I’m interested in studying Eastern Europe but idk how it will be looked on by employers

Thanks

Definitely UCL, go for SSEES if you enjoy it. At the end of the day, what employers mainly look at is the uni reputation rather than departament, so don’t worry.
University choices: Cambridge, KCL, QMUL, Bath and Surrey
What subject(s) are currently studying?: Access to Science and A-Level Maths (Self-taught)
Predicted: 45D and an A in Maths

I am 21, so counted as mature and have applied to Hughes Hall. Have my interview on the 3rd of December so very excited. Also, to those self-conscious about grades, I got DUUU at A-level and about 7 GCSE's. Admittedly, within the 3 years after leaving education I have worked hard professionally to make up for this shortcoming - but regardless of previous grades, it was enough to warrant an interview.
Anyone got KCL offers??

Need some help, do I accept an unconditional from Portsmouth and will it alter my chances of employment at places such as the big 4 or getting into wealth management?

Where else are you applying to? I would advise you not to accept unconditionals.
