What job can I get with a degree in physics?

I am thinking of choosing physics (most likely theoretical physics) at uni or natural science then quantum or theoretical physics if at Cambridge. However I am unsure what sort of careers I can actually get with such a degree on what the salary is like.

completely depends as it's such an employable degree. many investment firms will take you on for qualitative data analysis which pays 6 figured easily although you need to be very qualified. you can go on to engineering after a degree in physics which obviously is a very saught after job which pays well. research in physics may be hard to come by due to shortage of positions but it is one of the most vocational things you could do with your life and pays pretty well
You can become a patent attorney. It’s a niche field but you get paid a LOT. It’s actually insane money for a graduate.

Research positions, investment banking, teaching, consultant, science communication, maybe work in the space industry?
