We were going through a worksheet about moments at the end of the lesson and I got the answer wrong so i corrected it with the black pen but I’ve been looking over it now and the working doesn’t make sense? Could someone explain it to me please it’s the first question

using the moment about c, you found the reaction force at d.

then to find the reaction force at c, you did the sum of mass of the driver and motorbike - the reaction force at d

Ok but how does (0.65x62)+(0.75x1250) give you 1332.843?

I think you just put in the wrong answer, it should be equal to 977.8. and then divide that by 1.2 to get the reaction force at d.
