I've heard of it but associate it more with art stuff than photography. I use Flickr and am considering a Pbase account.

Ill get it described and put in.
This will be a sticky, right Oli? :p:

To me DeviantArt has a higher standard and better community aspect than Flickr, but slower to navigate.
I have accounts on everything and maintain none of them :p:

When I looked at it it was very confusing to navigate. I preferred Flickr but then again that's what I am used to.

Yup.
Yay. My first sticky. :proud:

Update. Added DeviantART last night and SLR Gear and Texas Photo Forum this morning.
Whoa, TPF is not a new site. That was a new feature on an old site. I would suggest that, as a lens sample gallery, it should be replaced by http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=141406, from Rob801.

Might want to note that photography-on-the.net is a canon forum, so that thread only have lenses available in a canon mount (ie. no nikons).

Another site you should add is http://strobist.com, great resource for off-camera flash hints/tips.

Kk, I did look at that one but because it was only Canon decided it wasn't a good idea to put it in. However I did include Ken Rockwell so shall humbly add this one.
