Numbers question.
Find the sum of all natural numbers less than 10000 that leave a remainder of 5 when divided by 17.
Where n is any natural number,
[latex]\displaystyle\sum_{i=1}^{\587} 17n+5 latex]
Here is how i got 587=(10000-5)/17
Then using the equation for Arithmetic Progresion
