    Find the sum of all natural numbers less than 10000 that leave a remainder of 5 when divided by 17.

Here is how i got 587=(10000-5)/17



Then using the equation for Arithmetic Progresion [latex]S_n=\frac{n}{2}(2a+(n-1)d
