hes a corporate solicitor

then why is he in court representing clients that's what barristers do?
solicitors are in mainly offices but still go to courts every ones in a while, whereas barristers are in mainly courts but are in offices every once in a while.

he is an american corporate attorney in a different procedural system to ours in England. He can represent clients in court if he so wishes.
I am not so precise with the terms, I just see in Harvey a lawyer, a good one.
